Master pianist Monty Alexander leads a heartfelt exploration of one of his musical hero, Nat "King" Cole. As a boy in his native Jamaica, Monty listened to his parent's Nat King Cole records and saw him perform live. In 2009, Monty released his recording Calypso Blues: The Songs of Nat King Cole. Alexander later went on to play on Natalie Cole's classic tribute album to her Father, Unforgettable: With Love. Vocalists Allan Harris, who recorded a Cole tribute of his own, Nat King Cole: Long Live the King, and Caterina Zapponi are on board in this tribute to one of America's greatest treasures! "Non Dimenticar," Nat's Italian hit, was lovingly recreated, with Alexander's lovely wife, singer Caterina Zapponi, helping Allan Harris on vocals.
