Washington DC is all set for its Jazz Festival at nearby summer!


A few months after being appointed Musical Director of the DC Jazz Festival, Willard Jenkins, passionate and knowledgeable about our musical genre, organizer, and ultimately multifaceted in these activities, it will premiere with a lineup of first line, that portend a successful party summer in the capital of the United States of America.

Between days 10 and June 16 of this year will be performing: Esperanza Spalding, Charlie Hunter, The Bad Plus with Joshua Redman, Gretchen Parlato, Jack DeJohnette Trio with Ravi Coltrane and John Scofield, among others.

But the part of Latin Jazz will be in scene: Paquito D'Rivera, Edmar Castañeda and AfroHorn, they illuminate to Washington with his masterful touch.




Jack DeJohnette the acclaimed drummer continues with his drumsticks to the satisfaction of all his followers, who are many as it fits any style and fusion.






Paquito D'Rivera is considered one of the Living Legends of Latin Jazz, his musical ability, flexibility, improvisation, his personality, have given triumphs in the world and their productions sound wherever.
