Arts for Art is excited to announce the second Latin Free Jazz Festival. This new program is meant to challenge the reductive “Latin Jazz” label by using it as a programming premise, and proving it insufficient through the diversity of voices and approaches. The featured artists are representative of Mexico, Cuba, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Africa & Spain. But most of all they represent themselves. They play music that they hear inside which goes far beyond national borders.
